Okay, I know Valentines day was a week ago and everyone has already made their list of favorite romances, but I want to do it to.
And to be extra special, I did it in slideshow form. Because I clearly have way too much free time.
Romance plot lines can make or break a book. The majority of YA books include one, but they’re not always great. So, I made a list of YA books with adorable romances (spanning a few different genres) that are perfect if you’re looking to be swept off your feet!

Sorry this review is a little later than I had hoped. I had some family stuff happen (don’t worry- all super good things!) and I got very very distracted. That said, while I’m still a bit distracted, I can’t let anything get in the way of me talking about Jennifer L. Armentrout books, so let’s get started!

Review in a Nutshell: Storm and Fury is a fun spin-off, and while nothing can compare to the original series, it definitely holds its own as a great read.

So, this series is a little old by YA standards (I feel like after a couple of years, the majority of books are just forgotten in this community… but that’s a discussion for another post), but it’s getting the comeback it deserves with the release of Storm and Fury!!!
Anyway, before I go into my review- I need to admit my bias here. This is one of my all-time favorites from High School. That said- if I started it now, with no built-in biases, I probably would not be so kind. My standards have changed a bit, but this book series is still too special to me to not adore.

Review in a Nutshell: Jennifer L. Armentrout writes 1 type of book: the swoon-worthy, light-hearted, banter-filled romances that you can’t put down even if you know exactly what’s coming. If that’s what you’re looking for- you’ll find it in The Dark Elements Series.
“People with the purest souls are capable of the greatest evils.”

I’ve been really bad at posting these on time lately, but I’m 100% blaming BookCon and BookExpo for this month. They just really threw me off. But I won’t let that stop me from talking about what I loved last month, and what I’m hoping to love this month!
