My October 2018 Wrap Up!

oct wrap up .jpg

15 books! I read 15 books in October and it was amazing. Now, 8 of them were rereads, but I’m counting them on my list because it’s been over a year since I’ve read any of them (for some, its been several years) and it wasn’t a quick reread. Each one took over a day to finish. I don’t usually count rereads because I read them in a couple of hours, but these I feel obligated to include.

Read on for more details. Don’t worry, I’ll keep the details brief since there are quite a few books to get through (also I’m tired).

Queen of Shadows (Throne of Glass #4) by Sarah J. Maas (REVIEW)

[ Edit (12/2020): This review was first published years ago. My thoughts on this series have changed since then. I still enjoy the series, but the problems in it can’t be ignored and must be discussed. I can’t reread it right now and completely rewrite this review (although I did adjust my star ratings to better reflect my thoughts on it now), but I think it’s important to point out the lack of diversity and harmful representation in this series as a whole. One day I will reread this and change this review to reflect all of these issues. Until then, I wanted to add this disclaimer. ]

“Then she smiled with every last shred of courage, of desperation, of hope for the glimmer of that glorious future. ‘Let’s go rattle the stars.'”
