Favorite February Reads & March TBR – A Big Reading Month

I’m actually a little impressed with myself.

Okay, a lot impressed with myself.

In February, I read 16 books. This is the most books I’ve read in a month in years. Maybe my year-long reading slump is finally over?!?!?!

But enough about the numbers, let’s talk about the books. Today, I’m going to go over my favorite books I read out of those 16, and I’m going to talk about the books I’m hoping to read this March!

February Favorites

Like I said, February was a good month. I continues my Tessa Dare reading spree, and even started some Julia Quinn books! But romance wasn’t the only genre I read this month, I also was able to get some ARCs finished that I was really excited to read.

An Offer From A Gentleman (Bridgertons #3) by Julia Quinn

Rating: 5 Stars
I heard a lot about the Bridgerton series, and I’m so glad I started reading it! I hope to do a full review of the series down the line. This book was probably my favorite of the series (although I still have the last book left), it was so cute and was a great Cinderella retelling.

Romancing Mr. Bridgerton (Bridgertons #4) by Julia Quinn

Rating: 5 Stars
Colin is my favorite Bridgerton, by far. This book was really fun, I loved the dynamic between our main characters, and I especially loved Penelope as our heroine!!

Havenfall (Havenfall #1) by Sara Holland

Rating: 4 Stars
I was lucky enough to be a part of the official Havenfall blog tour, and my full review (as well as my favorite quotes) will be posted on March 3rd! This book had a really great universe, and the characters were really compelling. Also, the main character is queer!

The Winter Duke by Claire Eliza Bartlett

Rating: 4.5 Stars
Another LGBTQ+ book! And another blog tour! My full review (plus dream cast and favorite quotes) will be posted on March 5th! This book was atmospheric and captivating, and also stressful, but in the best possible way. These was the dark (yet oddly funny at the same time) political fantasy I was dying to read.

March TBR

I’m hoping to keep up with my reading speed this March, because I have quite a few books I want to get to. I feel like I’m playing catch up, because I spent all January and February focused on ARCs and enjoying diving into the romance genre that I’ve been missing out on some of my most anticipated YA releases. Well, I hope to change that this month!

What was your favorite February read? What are you dying to read this March?

  1. My favorite read of the month was an ARC of Chasing Lucky by Jenn Bennett! I cannot wait to go to the bookstore tomorrow and pick up Crescent City!
