If you’ve seen my Updates, Explanations, & Oversharing post, then you can probably guess that October wasn’t my best reading month. And you’d be write. You could probably also guess that November isn’t going so well for me. You’d be right again.
That said, despite some lows, I did read some good books in November, and I have hopes of getting to some more good books this month. So instead of focusing on what I couldn’t get to, or what goals I didn’t make, let’s focus on the things I did enjoy, and the things I’m hoping to enjoy in the future!

Read more to see my favorite books that I read in October, as well as some books I’m dying to read this month!

October Favorites
Really, the only way I survived October was by rereading some favorites, but almost all of them I’ve already talked about in previous favorites posts, so I wanted to focus on the few new books I read.

Tweet Cute by Emma Lord (ARC)

Release Date: 1/21/2020
This book was so damn cute. Seriously. I had some high hopes for this one, and it met all of them. The enemies-to-lovers/twitter rivalry aspect was so fun, but there were also some really great family dynamics and character growth that brought it to the next level. I can’t wait for this to come out and for everyone to read it!
Dance of Thieves (Dance of Thieves #1) by Mary E. Pearson
Rating: 5 Stars
[ Full Review to Come: Later this month! ]
I’ve been dying to read this book since I heard it was being written. I loved The Kiss of Deception and The Remnant Chronicles, and I was so excited to once again be immersed in this world. I was worried I wouldn’t love the new characters as much, but boy was I wrong. I think I might even love them more than the old ones??? I don’t know. Either way, this book is amazing and I was so happy to finally read it.
Vow of Thieves (Dance of Thieves #2) by Mary E. Pearson
Rating: 4.8 Stars
[ Full Review to Come: Later this month/early next month! ]
Speaking of happy- I’m really glad I waited on this series until the duology was finished because binging this series was so fun. I don’t know how I would have survived the cliffhanger in Dance of Thieves if I had to wait a year for the sequel. I jumped right into Vow of Thieves the second after finishing the first book, and I absolutely loved it. Dance of Thieves may be my favorite of the two, but Vow of Thieves was still an amazing read!

November TBR
Soooo I didn’t even make a dent in my October TBR… which means some of the books from that TBR may make a small cameo on this one. I technically already started on a couple of these books (and even finished one) but since it was only a couple of days ago, and since I have no clue how much progress I’ll be making this month in general, I’m going to count it!
This month’s TBR includes two of my most anticipated releases of the year, so I have pretty high hopes of me actually being able stick with my goal and read most (if not all) of these books this month!

- The Caged Queen (Iskari #2) by Kristen Ciccarelli
- The Sky Weaver (Iskari #3) by Kristen Ciccarelli
- Blood Heir (Blood Heir #1) by Amelie Wen Zhao
- The Guinevere Deception (Camelot Rising #1) by Kiersten White (ARC)
- The Queen of Nothing (The Folk of the Air #3) by Holly Black
