June Favorites & July 2019 TBR – Summer Reading!

So… June wasn’t great for me. I thought I was defeating my reading slump, but oh boy was I wrong. June definitely beat me. I did not win this month. That said, I have hope for July. Not much hope, but still.

But enough about slumps and how I failed. Let’s keep it positive and talk about what I loved in June, and my July TBR!

Read on to find out what I’ve read and loved, and what I hope to read next!

June Favorites

Like I said, June wasn’t a great month for me (reading-wise, that is) but I did get to read some fantastic books. Also, if you want to see my reviews of these books, click the rating.

Without further ado, here are the books I adored in June:

Red, White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston

Rating: 5 Stars

This book. Oh my god. This was everything I could have wanted and more. Seriously, it’s my new obsession. I even made myself a button with a quote from it. It was just that amazing. Please, if you haven’t read it, read it already!

Storm and Fury (The Harbinger #1) by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Rating: 4 Stars

I had a lot of high hopes for this book. While it may not have met every single minuscule dream of mine, it was still a really, super fun read. Overall, this book just reminded me why I love Jennifer L. Armentrout so much.

July TBR

In hindsight, I didn’t fail too completely at my June TBR!! I finished all but one book from that list. My July TBR will be included that book, as well as a few other new releases I’m dying to get to!!

What were your favorite reads from last month? What do you hope to read in July?
