I’ve been really bad at posting these on time lately, but I’m 100% blaming BookCon and BookExpo for this month. They just really threw me off. But I won’t let that stop me from talking about what I loved last month, and what I’m hoping to love this month!
Read more for my favorite reads from May, and my June TBR!

May Favorites
May was a bit of a slow month, with only around 2 books I read really standing out- that said, they were SO GOOD. Since I have reviews up for both of them, I won’t go into too much detail on my thoughts.

The Bride Test (The Kiss Quotient #2) by Helen Hoang
The Kiss Quotient is one of my all-time favorites, and I was a little scared that Helen Hoang’s next book wouldn’t live up to my expectations, but it really, truly did. While it didn’t quite evoke the same magic of The Kiss Quotient, it managed to be magical and fun in it’s own unique way.
The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren
Whenever a Christina Lauren book is published, it should be a national holiday. I have to drop everything I’m doing to immediately read it. And I’m never disappointed. Yeah, some of their books are better than others, but they’re all super fun (and this book is definitely on the better side of the spectrum for their books).

June TBR
Admittedly, a lot of my June TBR is just stealing stuff from my half-failed May TBR. But! I’ve already finished one thing from my TBR (Red, White, and Royal Blue is absolute perfection by the way– full review coming this weekend), so I have hope that I may make more progress this month than last.

I think I’m slowly recovering from my months-long reading slump (oh god I hope I didn’t just jinx that) but I still want to play it safe this month and focus on books I’m really excited about, like Jennifer L. Armentrout’s newest release, and I may possibly try to get started on working through my BookCon and BookExpo haul! I didn’t that on my TBR though, because I’m really avoiding pushing myself too hard.
- Red, White, and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston
- We Hunt The Flame (Sands of Arawiya #1) by Hafsah Faizal
- Storm and Fury (The Harbringer #1) by Jennifer L. Armentrout
(Bonus: Reread White Hot Kiss by Jennifer L. Armentrout)
