December 2018 TBR

I completed half of my TBR last month, including a book that was around 1000 pages, so I feel pretty okay about it. This month, I have more books on my TBR, but I’m dying to read every single one of them

Say how many books you chose this month and if you hope to read them. Be honest, but not too honest.

Lady Midnight (The Dark Artifices #1) by Cassandra Clare

“In a secret world where half-angel warriors are sworn to fight demons, parabatai is a sacred word. A parabatai is your partner in battle. A parabatai is your best friend. Parabatai can be everything to each other—but they can never fall in love.” (Goodreads). Lady Midnight is the first novel in The Dark Artifices Trilogy, the newest series in the Shadowhunter Chronicles!

Lord of Shadows (The Dark Artifices #2) by Cassandra Clare

The sequel to Lady Midnight. No description here because I refuse to spoil myself for this series!

Queen of Air and Darkness (The Dark Artifices #3) by Cassandra Clare

The final book in The Dark Artifices trilogy! Again, no spoilers, but I’m really looking forward to marathoning these books. Also, if I don’t end up reading Lady Midnight, then 3/5 of this TBR will be impossible. Lets hope I stick with it!

My Favorite Half-Night Stand by Colleen Hoover

Millie and Ried spend an amazing half-night together, but they decide to continue on as friends. When Millie creates a new persona, “Catherine”, for an online dating app, her and Ried form a connection. “Soon, Millie will have to face her worst fear—intimacy—or risk losing her best friend, forever.”(Goodreads).

Wicked Saints (Bound Manuscript) by Emily A. Duncan

“A girl who can speak to gods must save her people without destroying herself. A prince in danger must decide who to trust. A boy with a monstrous secret waits in the wings. Together, they must assassinate the king and stop the war.” (Goodreads). This is in my top 3 most anticipated books of next year, and I’m so grateful to have an ARC of it!

    • I knew I won’t be able to stop myself from reading it soon. I originally wanted to try and wait until it was at least a little closer to the release date, but I won’t win that battle haha. And thanks!!
