October 2018 TBR

I got to only 1 book from my September TBR, but I’m still really proud of all the reading I did (be sure to check out my wrap up by clicking here!).

I chose 4 books for October, and I have faith that I’ll get to at least half of them! (That may not sound too positive, but based on the last couple of months that would be a nice improvement).

The Caged Queen by Kristen Ciccarelli

Roa and Essie were sisters, born with a magical bond, but after an accident, Essie’s soul is trapped forever. Dax is heir to Firgaards throne, and when Roa gave him the army he needed to overthrow the tyrant king, he made her his queen and promised to help her people. But her people are still suffering. But Roa is given the chance to save her sister’s soul. All she has to do is kill the king.

The Ladies Guide to Petticoats & Piracy by Mackenzi Lee
A companion novel to the amazing The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue. This book follows Monty’s sister Felicity, a year after the first book, as she sets her eyes on medical school.

Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Maas

The final Throne of Glass book! I cannot possibly vaguely explain the synopsis for this without spoiling the previous books, but if you haven’t read this series, I highly recommend picking up the first book!

Girls of Paper and Fire (ARC, release date: 11/6) by Natasha Ngan

“Each year, eight beautiful girls are chosen as Paper Girls to serve the king. It’s the highest honor they could hope for…and the most cruel. But this year, there’s a ninth girl. And instead of paper, she’s made of fire.” (Goodreads) ( TW: violence and sexual abuse.)

What are you most excited to read this month?

    • I loved Mackenzi Lee’s Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue so I’m dying for this book, and I can’t wait to start Girls of Paper and Fire! I’ll have a review out closer to the release date but I’ll probably post updates on my Goodreads while reading!!! I hope you have an awesome October too!
