The Book Was Better (Book Recommendations!)

Movie Recs 1

We all know the book is always better, but have you read the books for these awesome movies?

The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken
An epic dystopian series following Ruby Daly, who has been forced into a “rehabilitation” camp with thousands of other children who also survived the deadly IAAN virus and have been changed by it. When she manages to escape, she finds three other kids like her, and together they search for a safe haven known as East River.

To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han
This cute and fluffy book follows Lara Jean Covey. Whenever she had a crush, she would write them a love letter, then hide it away in a box. She’s done this for five major crushes, including Josh, her sister’s boyfriend that she isn’t quite over yet. When the letters mysteriously get sent, Lara Jean’s life gets turned upside down.

Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli
The only person who knows Simon Spier is gay is his pen pal, who he knows only as Blue, that he’s been emailing for a few months now. But when his emails fall into the wrong hands, Simon will do anything to prevent being outed, and to protect Blue’s privacy. This book is absolutely adorable, and such fun read!

What book to movie adaptation are you looking forward to? I’m absolutely dying to see The Hate U Give this October!
