To Kill a Kingdom is a loose retelling of The Little Mermaid, following the siren princess, Lira, known as the Prince’s Bane, and Prince Elain, a renown siren hunter. When Lira angers her mother, she is banished and made human. The only way for her to return home is to bring her mother the heart of the siren hunter.
