Fairytale Retelling Recommendations!

The Barnes and Noble editions of classics are always so beautiful, so I wanted to show off their covers while talking about some of my favorite retellings!

For Arabian Nights Fans: The Wrath & The Dawn by Renee Ahdieh
The Wrath & The Dawn is a breathtaking book based on 1001 Arabian Nights. Khalid, the Caliph of Khorasan marries a new bride each night only to have her killed in the morning. When Shahrzad volunteers to be his next bride, she has a plan to end his reign once and for all.
For Beauty and the Beast Fans: Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge
In this Beauty and the Beast retelling, Nyx has been training her whole life to kill the evil ruler she is betrothed to. This book is perfect for people looking for a great romance with beautiful writing.
For The Little Mermaid Fans: To Kill A Kingdom by Alexandra Christo
A dark twist on the classic tale, Lyra is the siren princess, known for killing only princes, and Elian is a prince known for hunting sirens. When Lyra is punished and made human, she must deliver the Elian’s heart to the sea queen or be banished forever.
